Three ways we can work together.

Choose the engagement model that fits your organization. We can augment an existing team or take ownership of the project end-to-end.

01 · END-TO-END PROJECT

Full product development

We handle analysis, development, testing and release. You set the goals, we deliver a working product iteratively.

  • Full team coordinated by us
  • We own delivery
  • Best fit for new projects
02 · DEDICATED TEAM

A team that works like yours

A group of professionals working alongside your in-house team, with the same tools and the same delivery culture.

  • Plugs into your processes
  • Flexible composition
  • Ideal to scale capacity
03 · SUPPORT & MAINTENANCE

Evolving existing systems

We keep software in production alive and evolving: bug fixing, performance improvements and new features on top of an existing codebase.

  • Gradual handover
  • Code documentation included
  • SLA on requests and incidents

We run on Scrum, in five clear steps.

Scrum is the agile framework we use to make software development — inherently complex — predictable. The project is broken into short cycles called sprints, each one ending with tangible, measurable value.

01

Product Backlog

We collect requirements, business goals and priorities together. The result is an ordered list of everything to build — always visible and adjustable.

02

Sprint Planning

At the start of each sprint — typically two weeks — we jointly decide what to deliver. Every goal is estimated and assigned to the team.

03

Daily Scrum

Every day the team syncs in a short stand-up: what got done, what is in progress, which blockers to remove. Full transparency.

04

Sprint Review

At the end of the sprint we show you working software. You review it, give feedback and, if needed, we recalibrate priorities.

05

Retrospective

The team reflects on what worked and what can improve. Each sprint gets smoother than the last — that is how quality compounds over time.

Every sprint produces a working increment of the product: no end-of-project surprises, and you can change direction when you need to without unexpected costs.

Ask your question →
How many hours do your engineers overlap with US working hours?
Italian CET is six hours ahead of US Eastern Time, so a 9:00 AM standup in New York is 3:00 PM in Milan. East Coast teams get 5-6 hours of real-time overlap every working day, Central Time 3-4 and the West Coast 1-2. Most offshore alternatives give you 0-2.
How much does a senior Italian remote engineer cost?
Senior engineers run $7,500-$12,000 per month depending on market and specialization, which is 40-60% below comparable US senior hires fully loaded. The range is the whole pricing model: no placement fees, no per-seat markup layered on top.
Do we interview the engineers ourselves?
Yes. We present two to three candidates matched to your stack and seniority, you interview them like any other hire, and you decide. The engineers you interview are the engineers who join your team — there is no bench swap after signing.
Who owns the code your engineers write?
You do, from day one. IP assignment is written into every contract along with mutual NDAs, and Italy being in the EU means those contracts are enforceable under EU law with GDPR compliance built in rather than bolted on.
What engagement models do you offer?
Staff augmentation for individual senior engineers embedded in your team, dedicated remote teams of 3-10 people with an Italian tech lead, and project-based consulting of roughly two to four months for migrations, rewrites, audits or MVPs.
How long does it take to get an engineer working on our product?
Matching takes one to two weeks, you run the interviews, and contracting adds about a week. Onboarding is a structured three-to-four week ramp: first pull request in week one, full velocity by week four.
Can you take over a project from a vendor that is not working out?
Yes — a significant share of our clients arrive that way. It starts with a technical assessment of the existing codebase and the contractual situation, then a transition plan with knowledge transfer and, where needed, a parallel running period while we ramp up.
Do you work with startups as well as larger companies?
Both. We adapt team composition and process to the context: a startup in MVP mode needs speed and a single senior engineer who can own decisions, a larger company needs traceability, governance and a team that fits an existing engineering organization.
