RemoteDevsItaly provides senior Italian remote engineers to US companies. Italian CET gives 5-6 hours of working overlap with the US East Coast every day — enough for real-time collaboration, standups, pairing and code review without the handoff delays of fully offshore models.
We currently focus our engagements on US East Coast states, where the timezone fit is strongest. Each state page below explains how we work in that specific market, with industries, rate context, and the typical engagement patterns we see.
East Coast United States
Eastern Time aligned with Italian CET: 5-6 hours of daily working overlap. Real-time collaboration is the baseline, not an async workaround.
- New York — e-commerce, SaaS, media, AdTech, marketplaces. NYC senior labor rates among the highest in the country.
- Massachusetts — HealthTech, EdTech, enterprise SaaS, research-grade engineering. Boston and Cambridge prioritize engineering rigor.
- Virginia — GovTech, cyber, B2B SaaS, enterprise software. NoVA is the country’s second-largest tech corridor.
- Georgia — logistics, SaaS, marketplaces, media. Atlanta’s mid-market tech scene grows faster than local senior supply.
- North Carolina — enterprise software, logistics, SaaS, developer tools. Research Triangle talent is contested by a few large employers.
- Florida — SaaS, travel-tech, e-commerce, real-estate-tech. Miami, Tampa and Orlando host rate-sensitive startups.
- South Carolina — manufacturing-tech, SaaS, logistics. Charleston is an emerging hub with limited local senior engineers.
Other US Regions
We are expanding coverage beyond the East Coast. If you are a US company based outside the states listed above, we still work with you — with the caveat that timezone overlap becomes narrower the further west you are. Here is the working math:
- US Central Time: 3-4 hours of overlap (Italy 3:00-7:00 PM CET covers US 9:00 AM-1:00 PM CT)
- US Mountain Time: 2-3 hours of overlap, typically async-forward with scheduled syncs
- US Pacific Time: 1-2 hours of overlap, requires one side to adjust hours for sync meetings

Why We Focus Geographically
We publish regional pages because engineering engagements are not one-size-fits-all. Budget, hiring urgency, industry mix, compliance expectations and engagement preferences all shift by region. A Boston biotech HealthTech company and a Miami e-commerce startup have very different priorities even when the technical stack overlaps.
